Just for interest, this is what the cookie looks like (taken from my Internet Explorer cookie list - other browsers display the same data in different formats):
Name: narrowband
Server: www.rfwilmut.clara.net
Path: /
Value: 0
Expires: Mon, Dec 6, 2004 08:57 GMT
Secure: No
Status: Enabled
The server is given so that pages from other servers cannot read this cookie.
The Value is the information set by the cookie.
Path is "/'' because the setting page is at root level in the webspace.
The cookie shown above will expire on the date shown - 6 months after it was first set (I was up early that day) - the browser will delete it at that point.
"Secure=no" shows that the cookie was not placed over a secure connection (such as when you access your bank data).
